Fuji Film

|

On Friday (19th of Feb) afternoon I placed a film order at Fujilab.co.uk. They are official/semi-official Fuji people and have lower prices for Fuji films than other resellers. My order was processed quickly and on Saturday I got an email saying my order had been dispatched via Royal Mail. Yeah, films were sent from the UK. Today I was really surprised to find the films in the mailbox. It took them 1,5 business days to arrive to Finland!

Here are my new Fuji films in a family portrait with Nikon EM. I’ve previously tested medium format Neopan 400 and I liked…

Taken with Nikon EM and M42 mount Porst 135mm f/2.8 on Kodak TMAX 400 black and white film

No, I’m not quitting on my Project 365 just yet but after I missed another day (14th of January) I re-made my decision and set my photography project to start on 1st of January instead of the original 3rd of January. Scanned from a print as I’m having some quality issues when scanning film negatives with Canon 8800F. I’m not sure if it’s a user related or operating system (OS X 10.6) related problem.

The print was totally green so I decreased the tones in Camera RAW after scanning. I kinda like…

Taken with Fujica ST605N and Fujinon 55mm f/2.2 on Fujifilm Superia 400

I’ve had digital SLR for just over a year. Since then I’ve tried to become better photographer by photographing a lot and by reading articles and forum discussions. At the same time I rescued my mom’s old film SLR (Fujica ST605N). I shot a test roll with it and the camera seemed to work okay. I forgot analog photography for awhile but this fall I purchased a second-hand Nikon EM SLR camera in great working condition. Since then analog photography has intrigued me more and more. I just developed…
