Taken with Nikon D80 and Porst 135mm f/2.8 M42 lens and macro bellows
This is very unusual for me, a pastel colored flower photo. I don’t really like this type of photos nor understand how to take and make them but still I ended up with this on day 64 of my project 365.
On Friday I tested my M42 mount macro bellows with M42 mount Porst 135mm f/2.8 lens (@ f/8) and Nikon D80 digital SLR camera. The colors turned out so bright that I had to tweak them in Photoshop.

Last weekend I also tested the 0.4m extension tube I got with Kiev 60. I attached the extension tube between the Kiev body and 50mm f/4 Flektogon and shot a roll of Kodak Tri-X 400 around the house. It was kinda like a test round and I was lacking ideas. Last summer I took quite a lot macro and close-up shots of flowers and plants and this summer I intend to do the same, except now I’ll shoot also on film.

The greatest thing about social media is to be able to find nice people and creative ideas. Flickr is of course the best place to bump into clever photography. Because there are millions of photos and photographers using Flickr, it’s sometimes difficult to find something new that can be called a favourite.
