Yesterday, one of the new topics in Twitter was Flavors.me. Flavors.me is a new social media service that allows you to create a simple one-page website and link your social medias into one sleek mashup. The web page can be customized for your own taste: you can select the colors and layout, and even upload a custom background image. The service is free for basic use, but if you want to include a contact form, you’ll need to pay some bucks.
The service is simple but in fact very clever. It’s very easy-to-use and it’s highly customizable. If you don’t want to or don’t know how to create a business card website for yourself, Flavors.me is the one of the best ways to implement it. Flavors.me has just finished the beta phase and is now public. (Note, I do not have anything to do with the service.)
Yesterday I had to, of course, sign up and create a business card page with Sipping Designs colors. It can be found at http://flavors.me/perminna. At the moment my page includes my Flickr stream, Last.fm plays, Twitter feed and Sipping Designs RSS feed. You can also check out the awesome Flavors.me sites under Flavors.me directory.
The premium service costs $20 per year. With premium account you can get a custom domain, real time online statistics and a contact form. They promise to add more layout options, an updated member directory and a search functionality for premium service.

After you’ve signed up, you can customize your Flavors.me page. The available options include: name and description, services (for example Posterous, Tumblr, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare and Etsy) and layout and colors. The page settings can be accessed from your Flavor.me page’s upper right corner (Show Design Panel).
